Size F crochet hook
The body is worked from the bottom to the top in rounds. Make sure to join with a slip stitch at the end of each round and chain 1 at the beginning of the next round.
Round 1: Using white yarn, ch13, sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each st across (12sc), join to first sc with sl st to form a circle. Fasten off.
Finishing seam and ears: Ch1, sk first st, sl st in next st. Ch4, sl st in 2nd ch from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in last ch. Join with sl st to next st on rnd 12. Fasten off leaving long tail for sewing and other ear. Weave end through top of head to close and bring yarn to other side of head to form next ear.
Ch 4, sl st in 2nd chain from hook, sc in next ch, hdc in last ch. Join with sl st to next st on round 12. Sl st in next st and fasten off. Weave in end.
Using red, ch3, sc in 2nd chain from hook and next st (2sc). Ch1, turn.
Rows 2-8: sc in each st across, ch1, turn.
Row 9: Switch to white, sc in each st across, ch1, turn.
Row 10: scdec. Fasten off.
Using pictures as a guide, attach the tail to the back of body.
To finish:Cut a small, teardrop shaped piece of felt. Using sewing thread, stitch a nose and mouth onto it and sew to front of body with sewing thread that will blend in with the felt. Add black knots for eyes and you are all finished!
