Tangerine Baby Barefoot Sandals

Recently a friend of mine asked me if I could make a pair of “barefoot” sandals for her niece who is 9 months old. She is familiar with my crocheting and sent me a picture to show what she was looking for. I hadn’t made barefoot sandals before, but had saved a pattern by Two Girls Patterns for months! I was so excited to finally have the chance to make them!

My friend had ordered a pair of tangerine colored lace shorts for her niece, and asked for the sandals to match. More excitement!!! Orange in all different shades has become so popular, and is such a cheerful summer color!

Once finished, I had a mini photo shoot with a sweet little friend of mine who loved modeling these tiny flowers.

Here are a few photos from the day!

This one is my favorite :)

Cute little feet!

She didn’t like the grass on her bare feet very much…

…but she was very good and we ended up with a nice shot :)
